So this restaurant is under new management, I wouldn't know if that was a good or bad thing because I had never been there before. I did however highly enjoy this place! Lisa, our server, was amazing. Super knowledgeable about the menu! She was spot on with suggestions. We go the: Asian Seafood Pasta (Mild--Medium--Spicy) $49 Pappardelle Pasta, San Marzano Tomatoes, Dungeness Crab, Scallops, Shrimp, Ahi, Clams, Shiitake
Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Fresh Mint, Cilantro, Basil, Parmesan. Balinese Stirfry with Fresh Island Fish (Substitute Chicken $32 or Substitute Tofu $21) $36 Sugar Snap Peas, Shiitake Mushrooms, Soy Beans, Cherry Tomatoes, Lundberg Brown Rice, Sesame Seeds.
And the. Fresh Fish A La Plancha $39
Yukon Potato Puree, Molokai Purple Mash Potatoes, Mojo Verde, Grilled Pita, Romesco & Dukkah.
All of them were delicious! We did have a few bumps in the road with the kitchen, they switched the spices for the stirfry and the seafood pasta but the waitress and owner( or manager) stepped up and apologized so many times. They went above and beyond for the simple mess up. They gave us 3 free deserts! The CHOCOLATE TART 12 Dark Chocolate Ganache, Brown Butter Crust,
Sliced Raspberries,Vanilla Whipped Cream
;LEHUA HONEY SOUFFLE 12Dark rum blueberry compote, torched ricotta cream, lilikoi sorbet :BANANA
BREAD PUDDING 12 Macadamia Nuts, Caramel Sauce
& Whipped Cream and all were TO DIE FOR! I'll be going back! Seriously can find a better place to eat with being right on the water and these amazing people who work so hard everyday! Keep doing what you're doing g! AMAZING! -

This little oceanfront restaurant and bar quickly became our favorite spot during our stay in Maui. I loved the early happy hour starting at 2 pm - you can get drink specials and half price apps while enjoying the ocean breezes wafting through the open window. Friendly bartender Graham mixed me up a refreshing Lillikoi margarita with salt - a nice island twist on an old classic. It went perfectly with a generous plate of calamari, lightly breaded and fried to perfection. I'll pass on a tip the server gave me: the fried slices of lemon and sage may look like garnishes, but they're both edible - and delicious!
We also took advantage of the late happy hour, Mala Til Midnight, for economical late-night bites and drinks. Special prices make craft cocktails such as the Rosarium even more of a treat. A half order of the delicious seared ahi bruschetta, fresh-tasting and topped with fresh veggies, was plenty for me. Service was once again friendly and attentive.
On my last day in Maui, I stopped in solo for brunch and snagged the little table by the window. A hearty plate of chilaquiles and a dreamy mimosa made the perfect farewell meal. -

Came in on a recommendation with no reservations but they put us right next to the ocean. The "Famers Salad" I would skip, too small and drenched in dressing but everything else was great. I did a grilled octopus super tasty, not a huge porition but enough. The wife had some island fish dish with two big old piles or mashed potatos she liked although the purple potatos were not her favorite.
We skipped alcohol in this trip and so we got out for $115 with tip for a nice meal on Front Street not bad. And a sneaky parking place in Safeway lot is just two blocks away! -

The beau and I visited for dinner. Our reservation was for 5:30 and we were seated promptly right on the water. If you're looking for a restaurant with a view you can't beat this place, literally on the water overlooking Lahaina harbor. The sunset views from here are magnificent, but if you want an unobstructed view, plan to arrive around 5pm to get the best seat.
The food here is quite good. We tried the meatballs, Brussels sprouts, ono a la plancha, and chorizo & octopus. The chorizo & octopus dish was a standout with perfectly cooked octopus and a lot of great flavor and spice from the chorizo. The other dishes were good, but not particularly memorable. For dessert we shared the butterscotch pot de creme and the banana bread pudding. The butterscotch was amazing.
If you're looking for a drink, the LBC is a good option for something that is sweet, tart, and not a high abv.
Our server was excellent along with all of the staff. This was a delightful Maui sunset dining experience. -

Mala is an awesome little spot on Front Street, right on the water with gorgeous views. We went twice for breakfast and I got the same thing (Huevos Rancheros) both times because it was so good. I love everything about this place. The service is wonderful and it feels like you are eating right on top of the water. The drinks are creative and delicious and the food is amazing (at least the huevos rancheros are). I can't wait to go back and hopefully order something different if I can make myself do that. They serve lunch and dinner too so I'd love to try that! I would absolutely recommend Mala to anyone in Maui!
